Kids are important at FCC! Little ones are welcome at worship and there is a "Children’s Time" each week [near the beginning of the 9:30 worship service]. Following that, childcare is provided for infants and toddlers. Sunday School for preschoolers and elementary age students is also provided at this time.
At our 11:15 worship service, kids pick up a rhythm instrument and play along as we sing our opening songs. Then childcare and Sunday School are offered.
Vacation Bible School is an annual summer event for 4-12 year-olds where kids enjoy hands-on learning in a relaxed setting.
Church Camp is a week in the Sierras for children and youth who have completed 3rd-12th grades. 35 FCC kids enjoyed camp in 2009.
Throughout the school year, youth groups meet regularly, one of the middle school and one for the high school students. Both groups offer opportunities for personal growth, community service, spiritual development and wholesome fun.
An annual highlight is the trip to San Francisco, combining fun activities with service to the hungry at Glide Memorial meal program.
