​                                   KIDS UNDER CONSTRUCTION VBS SUCCESS STORY

     July 25 - 29, First Christian Church kids and a worker joined Foreman Katie (Pastor Katie Swartz) @ First Lutheran Church for the Under Construction Vacation Bible School. In the Under Construction VBS theme, kids listened and talked about bible stories of the Master builder, the demolition of Saul to the remodeled Paul. Ephesians 5: 1-2, we learned God's examples are like a blueprint. And, we all learned how t be a Great crew that can work together, play together and become Great Friends like Olivia R., Cameron H., and Jonathan V. We used our daily stories for real action of hammering, painting and gardening to support Goodwater Crossing, a micro-shelter for homeless. Finally, before and during VBS week, kids hosted lemonade stands, did chores and begged grandparents for money to buy a $303.86 door for one of the eight micro-shelters coming soon to Goodwater Crossing.   Thank-you all for your support.
